As a firefighter, you need to be able to not only manage daily life, but you also need to meet the physical demands of your job. Your training should allow you to be robust, injury resistant, and able to perform when needed most.
How we think impacts our nervouss system. Our nervous system impacts our physiology, which affects our health & performance. Addressing your mindset and ideas behind your habits is the key to building some that are sustainable.
You are more than a firefighter. Maybe you're a spouse or a parent. Maybe you enjoy carpentry or consider yourself a foodie. Your job is important, but your life outside of it matters too! That notion is never forgotten here.
